Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) -2022 was observed at ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) from 31st October to 6th November 2022. This year's theme was 'Corruption free India for a Developed Nation'. On the first day of Vigilance Awareness Week, the integrity pledge was administered to all the employees at OPaL's corporate office and at the Dahej plant. Many employees took the E-pledge of integrity through the link shared on the OPaL's corporate website. To get a wider reach for messages of integrity, mailers were sent to all the employees and the same messages were also circulated to all the vendors and other stakeholders associated with OPaL. Similarly, SMSs were sent to OPaL employees during the week and E-posters were displayed at various empaneled Hotels of OPaL situated in Vadodara and Bharuch.
Banners, standees, and posters with anti-corruption messages were displayed at strategic locations at the corporate office in Vadodara, Dahej plant and zonal offices. To encourage active participation of all employees, various events like webinars, online quiz competitions, and slogan competitions were organized at OPaL during the week. To achieve the objective of spreading awareness and sensitizing employees on Standard Operating Procedures/Guidelines, a webinar on the topic..Risk Management from a Legal Perspective was organized on 1st November, 2022. Similarly, another webinar on Corruption Free India For a Developed Nation was organized on 3rd November, 2022.
During the week, an informative skit performance was also organized at OPaL Dahej which received an overwhelming response from the employees. A skit performance based on a similar theme was organized at Vagra Village Bus Stand. To spread the message of honesty and integrity, a drawing competition on VAW-2022 theme was organized for the students of M K High School, Baroda, and Baroda High School. These sessions were well received and witnessed high participation from the students.
A campaign on VAW was launched on social media handles of OPaL i.e. Twitter, Facebook, where messages related to integrity and anti-corruption were shared. In the same line, a web banner was also displayed on OPaL's corporate website.
