  • 07 - Mar - 2024

International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8th, is a testament to the remarkable contributions of women worldwide. It honours their pivotal role as the cornerstone of society, bringing families and communities together. Their dedication and resilience serve as an inspiration to us all. Women are challenging traditional roles, reshaping narratives, and demonstrating that there are no limits to their achievements.

In observance of International Women’s Day, a specialized workshop on Women Empowerment was arranged for all female colleagues at OPaL. The session, led by Ms. Ashu Manchanda, a behavioural skill expert and leadership coach, focused on crucial aspects of Women Empowerment, essential for the health and social development of families, communities, and countries.

The workshop covered topics ranging from safety and productivity to skill development and maximizing potential for women. It was highly interactive and participatory, incorporating experiential learning through management games, exercises, and video presentations.

A cultural tour of Vadodara, including a visit to Laxmi Vilas Palace and Museum, was organized for all female team members. In commemoration of Women's Day, OPaL launched a month-long campaign on social media platforms, encouraging OPaL women to share their insights, thoughts, and experiences.
